The river arise from "Monte Amiata". It flows from Toscana to Lazio for 70 km and it is an affluent of river Tevere. A large number of animals is sustained by the river and around the river there are the two most important wildlife reserves: Riserva naturale di Monte Rufeno that is a naturalistic oasis, and Selva di Meana. |
